The Whitney Gallery had many painting of scenes from Yellowstone, Cowboy and Indian paintings and bronzes by Remington.
The Buffalo Bill Museum Holds a vast collection of Buffalo Bill belongings and memorabelia---all things "over the top". His clothes were over decorated, his posters claimed great things and the coach robe in the second picture is from Russia with many different Russian furs.
The Draper Museum of Natural History shows the wildlife of Yellowstone at the different altitudes. It's a beautiful showplace with many,(the sage grouse was one) if not all of Yellowstone's wildlife-from the pika to the bison-displayed.
The Plains Indian Museum shows the way of life of the Plains Indians and many articles of their beautifully decorated clothing. The beading, quilling and painting were amazing. The workmanship on the Lone Star Quilt was to be envied.
