Though the park left alot to be desired-empty swimming pool and hot tub, very low, sometimes almost non-existant water pressure and a high price tag-the view was superb as were the critters. The horses-in another blog-were beautiful and in the field in front of us daily. The little one by the barbed wire is not a baby prarie dog but a ground squirrel. They live in holes like prarie dogs but whistle-chatter insted of barking. Lily was bound and determined to catch one-didn't, and the cats spend many hours in the windows entralled with their tails wagging.
The permanent buildings were covered with cave swallows and their nests.
The magpie spent much of his day searching for the pepperoni that the man next door threw in the field. The magpie would find it and then bury it .

Joe Jesse: Man what a great adventure you two are having. We have been to some of the same places but this (your Blog) brings back some great memories. Yellowstone was one our son's favourite places. You have taken some great pictures. I really like the head shot of the Buffalo
