As we passed through Newport into new territory, we came to Devil's Churn. It started as a cleft in the rock and become a small gorge that the water flows in and out of with every wave.
The tree in the second picture is like many on the shore, the wind is so strong and continual that the trees are stunted.
We passed both Haceta Head Lighthouse and Umpqua Lighthouse.
