We spent a very enjoyable day at the San Diego Zoo. Included in the admission is a bus tour around the zoo. The zoo is quite large so this was an easy way to see the elephants and giraffes that were
furthest from the entrance. We spent the rest of the day rambling around looking at koala-our favorite for the day, pandas, unusual monkeys and birds. They had a hippo display with a big tank for them to swim in and a tiger enclosure where he was hidden in a corner, enjoying a bone. Many of the animals and birds were from Asian and were new to us.
