We decided to take the tour from the KOA Kampground to see San Francisco. We left at 9:00 in the morning and stopped first at the Golden Gate. Luckily, there was very little fog and after a beautiful view of the bridge, we went through the Presidio, along the beach and into Golden Gate Park. The park is on a reclaimed dune area, covered with beautiful gardens and trees, a world class art museum, tea garden and band shell. We then went though the varied neighborhoods of SF and stopped at a Cable Car. Our guide dropped us at the bottom of the hill
We went to Fisherman's Wharf for lunch, which we enjoyed at Alioto's, a restaurant that's been at the wharf for years. After lunch, we continued our tour, stopping at Chinatown and traveling though areas of multi-million dollar homes. We ended our tour by going back through the Presidio to Fort Point, under the Golden Gate. Our guide, Angela did a wonderful job of showing us all the different areas of the city and it's many treasures.
