August 3,
We gave Jon and Annie a break and headed back to Whidbey Island. The top picture is an example of mural painting done by a single artist at many historic points in Anacortes. We turned right instead of left at the Coopeville intersection and went to the Lavender Wind Farm. As we got out of the car, the smell of lavender was wonderful. We went further down island to see the Admiralty Head Lighthouse. It has been restored and is in the midst of Ft. Casey State Park. We went to the end of the island and took the ferry back to Mukilteo and as the ferry was docking we got a good look at the Mukilteo Lighthouse.
